Privacy notice · July 2026

Your inbox,
on your terms.

The newsletter uses only the information needed to confirm your request, send new-article updates, and honour delivery or unsubscribe signals.

What is collected

Your email address, subscription and withdrawal timestamps, the privacy notice version you accepted, and limited delivery status such as delivered, bounced, complained, failed, or suppressed. Short-lived anti-abuse counters are also used to protect the signup form.

Why it is used

Your address is used only after you confirm it by email. It is then used to send newsletter updates, prevent duplicate messages, process unsubscribe requests, and avoid sending to addresses that have rejected or complained about earlier mail.

Services involved

Resend processes outgoing email and delivery events. Neon stores the subscription and consent record. Vercel hosts the website and applies operational and abuse protections. Each service processes only the data needed for its role.

Retention

Unconfirmed requests are removed after 30 days. Expired action tokens are removed after a short safety window, operational webhook records after 90 days, and campaign records after 180 days. Withdrawn or blocked addresses are reduced to the minimum record needed to prevent unwanted future mail. Legal retention periods remain subject to owner review.

Your choices

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Withdrawing stops future newsletters; it does not require signing in. For access, correction, or deletion questions, email contact@andrei-ilinca.com.
